IDLE SWANS BENEFIT FROM TIGER COMEBACK

MAJORLEAGUEFOOTY
The St. Petersburg Swans remain atop the 2018-19 Major League Footy Premiership Season ladder, thanks to a late Lakeland Tigers rally to take Game Two over the Florida Lions in Week Two MLF action.

After a Lions charge – pouring on 38 points in the second half of Game One to seal a 54-36 win, the Tigers put their attack in order to claim a 52-32 victory in the back half of the matinee double-header.

That result sees the Tigers move into second place with a slim two-point advantage over the 3rd-place Lions after two weeks.

The Swans will return to action in Week Four versus the Tampa Bay Bombers, who’ll have a chance to take over first place themselves heading into that November 17 double-header.

The Bombers will tangle with the Kangas in a twin-bill, Saturday, November 10, in Week Three action.
