CENTRAL FLORIDA TUSSLE! SWANS, KANGAS LOOK FOR SERIES EDGE

The St. Petersburg Swans host the Orlando Kangas in a metro rules Australian football match, Saturday, May 20 at 7pm.

With the all-time series between the sides (2016-’17) knotted at 3-3, a revived St. Petersburg Swans offense will try to carry momentum from a 108-point win over Miami into Saturday’s match with Orlando AFC. Game time at Four ‘N Twenty Field at Campbell Park is 7pm.

Orlando took the last meeting in resounding fashion, 158-71 March 11, and will feature a re-shuffled list for tomorrow’s contest, as Swans’ ruck rover and USA Revolution Men’s National Team member Dustin Jones will suit up in the blue and white.

He’ll be joined by a healthy mix of new recruits and veterans, including 2016 MVP Benjamin Walker and just-added Aussie Adam Fitzgerald.

Fellow newbie Jeremy Tartt – a converted Gaelic footballer – will make his second appearance at fullback for the Bloods.

The match will be streamed live on stpeteswans.com, with Rich Libero (play-by-play) and Miro Gladovic (commentary) calling all the action.
